Gardening Club takes place at The Bridge 1.30 – 2.30pm on specific Mondays. The sessions are aimed at children aged 2 – 4 years and their parents/carers. You do not have to book in advance and you can attend on a drop-in basis.
The sessions are relaxed, fun and flexible – we all work together. There is access to both the outside and inside, so the club goes ahead whatever the weather. The session includes hands-on planting and gardening work using our raised beds and also individual pots and containers. We also provide lots of fun Art and Craft activities which usually take place inside The Bridge building – and if there is time there is a story at the end!
We are running 3 Spring sessions prior to Easter, and then Gardening Club will start again on 23rd April after the Easter holidays (specific dates and activities to be confirmed shortly).
The session on 5th March is free but normally there is a drop-in charge for the club of £7.
However, if you want to commit to both the 12th and 19th March, in advance, then you can pay a reduced total cost of £10 ( so each session works out at £5 each instead of £7). Most people pay by cash but you can organise a bank transfer if you wish.
For more information contact RUTH CRACKNELL via email email@example.com
Ruth is the gardening lady who runs the sessions and can answer any questions you may have.
Please make sure that both adults and children have warm practical clothes (layers are good!) and bring along suitable wellies and coats.
Please advise Ruth of any allergies/medical conditions etc. We do sometimes include the opportunity for some food tasting, but it is optional!
