Gardening Club takes place at The Bridge 1.30 – 2.30pm on specific Mondays. The sessions are aimed at children aged 2 – 4 years and their parents/carers. You do not have to book in advance and you can attend on a drop-in basis.
The sessions are relaxed, fun and flexible – we all work together. There is access to both the outside and inside, so the club goes ahead whatever the weather. The session includes hands-on planting and gardening work using our raised beds and also individual pots and containers. We also provide lots of fun Art and Craft activities which usually take place inside The Bridge building – and if there is time there is a story at the end!
Sessions this half term will run on Monday 25th June, Monday 2nd July and Monday 9th July.
We will be harvesting our potatoes and peas, sowing some fast growing salad leaves, planting summer bedding plants and thinking about colours!
- Each week we do some sowing/planting and there is always a craft activity included.
- We talk about cooking and eating and include some (optional) tasting!
- Outside and inside space is used and Gardening Club takes place whatever the weather.
Cost £7 drop-in rate. No need to book in advance but if you can confirm that you plan to attend it helps Ruth (the Gardening Lady) to have an idea of numbers.
For further information contact email@example.com.
The £7 charge covers Adult and Under 5 – all materials and equipment are provided.
