The Bridge held it’s annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Pleasaunce on Sunday 20th March. We had in excess of 600 children participate along with many more accompanying adults.
For the under fives, it was a traditional egg hunt, within the confines of the Bridge. For the over 5’s, there was a word challenge to complete. Letters were hidden
around the Pleasaunce Park, with rhyming teaser clues to help locate them. Then, to claim their prize, there was an anagram to solve, which when disiphered, spelt the word ‘daffodil’.
Along with the egg hunt and challenge, there was an Easter cake stall, lucky lollies, pin the treasure on the pirate map, hook a duck, Easter crafts and crown making from ‘Creation Station’ and a visit from the Easter bunny..
All in all, it was lovely to have the community come together in such a fun and family friendly way.
